“ My daughter and I by CHANCE found this little JEWEL of a restaurant, looking for somewhere close by to eat Mexican coming back from shopping. We went in and immediately felt like we were in Guadalajara, Mexico. Was in need of a high protein meal and saw the Molcajete on the menu which was MORE than a meal for two. We began with the BEST guacamole I’ve tasted in years, then our sizzling treat came out, which MORE than satisfied our appetites. Our server, Mayra was delightful and brought us plates to go for yummy treats to enjoy later. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ”
“ Some of the most delicious authentic Mexican I’ve had. We came because an nearby Mexican restaurant had a long wait and this place could seat us right away. Awesome guac and chips to start and everything grilled was off the charts. Two of us shared the Molacates with grilled meats, chorizo, shrimp, jalapenos and cactus. It was fantastic. Myra took great care of us. We’ll definitely be back. ”
“ Absolutely incredible! Service was great, the food was great and all the cultural art around is beautiful! Huge fan of the food we got, so savory, all nice and hot! Loved everything about it Recommend coming her for any occasion! ”
“ Amazing authentic Mexican food! Best tacos Al pastor I’ve had in Utah so far. So glad my sister found them and introduced me! ”
“ Omgosh this food had the WOW factor! Mayra was fantastic and great ambiance as well!! ”
“ Literally just finished my meal and I had to hop on here and tell you guys about it. I had mojarra...I’m sorry I don’t remember the name. I had an amazing grilled tilapia with an amazing red sauce. I even got to try a little of my mom’s napalis. When I took a bite of my fish my eyes literally swelled with tears. And every bite was like that. Every. Single. Bite. I’m not kidding I think I need to buy them all Christmas gifts this year. The fish tasted fresh and not even slightly muddy. It was crisp on the outside and bursting with juicy buttery flesh in the inside. I didn’t eat most of my beans and rice (which were also AMAZING) because I wanted to eat alllllll of my fish. I wish I had asked for a little bit of the sauce to go because it’s the perfect amount of spicy and refreshing. Everyone who works there is very kind and the owner went table to table to talk to everyone. The inside of the restaurant was nice and warm and the music was relaxing but still gave me a little bit of a sway. The paintings on the wall all were so gorgeous and it just added to the joyful experience. I’ve literally never had better Mexican food in my life and I’m from California! (Which as it turns out was far from authentic.) THIS is the spot, THIS is where it’s at! ”
“ The food was excellent, and the servers were really friendly. Even though service was a bit slow, the food was worth it. They have a great variety of food that is authentic and made like it is in Mexico. ”
“ We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We wanted real authentic Mexican Food and this place did not disappoint. It is self seating when you come in your choice of sitting where ever you want. From the salsa and chips to the agua de Horchata were authentic. I got the enchiladas rojas de Camaron, the sauce is made from scratch and the shrimp had very great seasoned flavors. Rice and beans are also made fresh. For dessert we had flan and it was also the thick kind delicious. The ambience was very mellow with the music playing in the background loud enough to still have a conversation. The restrooms were very clean and smelling good like the clean restrooms in Mexico iykyk. The service was awesome our waitress was very friendly and nice. We will definitely come back. ”
